An ideal retreat away from the bustle of the town, with all the conveniences of Keswick with its surrounding forests, fells and lakeshore just a short walk away.
For those who do not want to use the car, you can leave the car at the cottage and explore this wonderful area by bus, foot or bike, or even by passenger boat (Keswick Launch) from Nichol End Marine, a short stroll away. By using the passenger boat you can travel on the lake to several different pick-up / drop-off points allowing you to explore a wide area on foot.
Access to the shore of Derwentwater is only a few minute's walk away, as are the two local marinas which offer a variety of water sport facilities and tuition.
